• There are 1317 homes within this gated resort community, made up of manor homes, carriage homes, and townhomes. There are 86 different models ranging in size from one bedroom, one bath to a 3 level townhome with 3-4 bedrooms, 3 - 3 1/2 baths and walkout lower level. Square footage averages from 1100 to over 3000 sq. ft.
• Manor homes are multi-unit buildings in which units share vertical and horizontal partitions, but all units have entrances in a common lobby area.
• Carriage homes are multi-unit buildings in which units share vertical and horizontal partitions, but all units have individual entrances.
• Townhomes are units which share only vertical partitions with other units and have individual entrances. All homes have a least a one car garage with one additional parking space. Most townhomes have a 2-car garage.
• The location of the homes vary from the adjoining forest preserve, to lakefront, or on the golf course. Several ponds are located throughout the community with many residences overlooking them!
• There are 13 condo associations within Lake Barrington Shores. Each one of them governs approximately 100 residences. The president of each individual association sits on the Master Board. The Master Board governs Lake Barrington Shores. Monthly assessments are set annually by the Condominium Association Board of Directors.
• The complex boasts an area of 510 acres. At the center is a mile long lake stocked yearly with game fish including large mouth bass, trout, walleye and bluegill.
• The price range is as variable as the number of models. The smallest of units can be purchased reasonably in the $200,000 - $275,000 category. Townhomes with 2-car garages normally start in the $300,000 range, with some homes (on the lake) with walkout lower levels priced over $600,000!
